OTEX Specialty Narrow Fabrics, Inc. Announces Prestigious AS9100:2016 Revision D & ISO 9001:2015 Certification

New certification showcases company’s commitment to quality providing a superior foundation that benefits all of our existing customers and new markets

Bernardsville, NJ (January 22, 2017) – OTEX Specialty Narrow Fabrics, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has achieved AS9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 registration after successfully completing Stage I and Stage II audits by ANAB (ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board) and IAAF (Independent Association of Accredited Registrars) accredited registrar, DEKRA Certification, Inc. (DCI). Additionally, the company is now listed in the OASIS (Online Aerospace Supplier Information System) supplier database, a recognized source for high-quality suppliers to the aerospace industry.

ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard for Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. AS9100 is a rigorous expansion of the ISO 9001 standard specific to the aerospace, aviation and defense industries. AS9100 certification is required by most major aerospace manufacturers and is endorsed by all major aerospace regulators, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), US Department of Defense (DoD), International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
